We have just come back from our last minute booking of two nights in our tourer caravan. I can honestly say this is the best site I have ever been to. You get so much included in the price. Lovely well kept site with gorgeous views of the …
We have just had the best 4 nights at Cosgrove Park. There is absolutely nothing I can say that is even the slightest bit negative. The staff were all the happiest, friendliest people we have met at any touring site we've been to. From the security man that checked us in, to the people running the activities, they were so helpful and welcoming. We did paddleboarding, speedboat and Catamaran sailing, they were all so well organised and the guy running it was so helpful and friendly. The free play in the arcades was a huge hit for us as that's were we normally waste a lot of money, especially on rainy days. The parks were amazing and even had a swing for wheelchair users. We absolutely loved the music mix bingo on Friday, even better that you can take your own drinks so again keeping costs down. The toilets and showers were immaculate. Such a pretty site with lovely walks. We loved the off road buggies and again the 2 guys running it were amazing! This is hands down my favourite site we have been to and I absolutely can not wait to come back! Thank you Cosgrove!
Purchased a home a month ago. I wished I had purchased a holiday home a lot sooner. Paul who sold us the home never put us under pressure . As soon as we go through the gates we are in a wonderful setting and on holiday .The kids and grand kids are doing so much more than they would at home. They have an outdoor life and I know everyone is safe. The staff at reception are welcoming. The cafe and shop are excellent and well priced. The pool area is spotless and the life guards do a fab job. The security team are excellent and very caring . Already my family are making wonderful happy memories. Well done Cosgrove Park.
Sadly, its not set up for touring. It's a large site and looks very nice on arrival. Great if you have a static there, and plenty to keep the kids entertained and safe. But we arrived in a motorhome. There is no motorhome service point, and thus, no dedicated grid to drop the grey as you arrive / leave. However, with prior arrangement they will lift a grid somewhere on the site for you? The elsan has a tap, but no hose attached to help with cleaning. There are no bins apart from the huge ones at the entrance, we were pitched at the far side of the site, about a 15 mins walk each way! so we stored our rubbish inside the van until we left. Our power tripped out early one morning, we then read a review that there was only a 10 supply, so worked around this. We did like the idea of getting afloat so the pedalos or the boat ride would have been nice. However, we stayed over on a Tuesday and Wednesday, when apparently, they don't run? Not even in mid summer..... We popped in to use the mid site toilet blocks one afternoon, and both were locked? Assumed keys are poss available if staying in a static...
Our Verdict, overpriced for touring, and would not recommend as a stop over for tourers.
However, ideal for a family holiday in a static. Just avoid mid week if the water activities are of interest..
Super relaxing, great location, wonderful
landscaped gardens, lots for everyone to do, great facilities. A must stay for families wanting to escape.
I meet up with my two brother on our motorbikes we’ve stayed at more than a dozen parks, some in the new forest area,
Many in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. None of them are anywhere near as good as Cosgrove. Last visit was 7 lakes in north Lincolnshire o dear!
Use went here in our touring caravan for a few nights. The kids loved it, there was so much we could do that we included in the price. We had a ride in a speed boat on swan lake, there was animal handling in the tent, a kids disco, free arcade games, free pool, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and we also purchased a game of ten pin bowling, crazy golf and a ride on the buggies. Shame about all the goose poops everywhere, but I guess not much you can do about that. Also the village of cosgrove is lovely with some really cool tunnels under the canel, and the iron bridge the other way. We will definately be back as I am sure the kids will demand it!
My parents have purchased a static here, we are going into our first full summer on Cosgrove Park. As a family we all love it, it’s a truly lovely location with great links into Milton Keynes which is never short of things to do.
That being said on site it’s so peaceful it truly is the best of both worlds.
My sons are 8 and 4, they absolutely love the park there’s a lot for them to do there especially during the summer holidays where Cosgrove truly goes above and beyond.
My parents static is amazing, Cosgrove have some rules but in my view this maintains the high standards the park has. It’s always well presented, the pool is brilliant, the bowling, parks etc.
I’ve waited a year to post this review as sometimes you can just be too excited but honestly Cosgrove is just an amazing park. Thoroughly recommend to anyone retired; or those with children. My own complaint is I can’t give more stars on this review.
We will likely buy a static of our own here in the future.
